PV Prices Down + PV FIT Subsidy Up = One Great Buying Opportunity for Solar Electric (PV) Installations!

Further good news on top of this price drop is a subsidy increase. The UK government’s 25 year subsidy for PV installations (the Feed in Tariff or FIT) has risen. On 1 April 0211 the FIT was 41.3p per unit (kilowatt-hour) of solar electricity that you generate. Today it is even higher, at 43.3p, an inflation-linked rise of 2p, or a 4.8% rise in FIT tariff.
