8 am 8am Welcome to the York solar home installation, a picture of the house before the solar panel installation.
  
9 am 9am Solar thermal panel is unpacked and ready for assembly.
  

9.20 am

9.20am Solar photovoltaic panel which collects solar energy to power the variable speed solar pump is attached to the collector panel.
  

9.40 am

9.40am The bracket which securely supports the main 2.8 sqm solar thermal panel is ready for attachment
  

11 am

11am The thermal solar panel’s support bracket is securely bolted to the roof.
 

11.30 am

11.30am The solar hot water pipe holes are carefully drilled into the roof.
   

1.30 pm

1.30pm The solar thermal energy panel is secured to the roof brackets. Time to connect the two pipes and the pump inside the house.
   

3 pm

3pm With the solar roof panel fully installed the solar water heating system (as a whole) is checked for commissioning.


3.30 pm

3.30pm Thermal solar panel and PV pumping system fitted and finished in time for afternoon tea!
