We are also UK’s top supplier of zero carbon operation solar water heating systems. Based in the centre of Chester, we cover all of UK and Ireland. Our business turned over £2.9M in 2011, having doubled our turnover in one year, despite the global economic downturn.

A/ Legal intern.
Tenacious and insightful, you will rapidly develop an understanding of the main technical issues relating to solar innovation. You will relish the challenge of handling rogue Goliaths who throw their excess weight around in ways which damage British innovation, sometimes via opaque, self-regulatory arenas. You will have, or will soon develop, a good understanding of regulatory process, lobbying, trade bodies, and commercial litigation. You will enjoy winning tough wins. Success indicators are commercially sensitive: they can be discussed at interview.
B/ Marketing intern.
Driven by the challenges to increase the number of high quality solar leads, to raise the profile of the Solartwin brand, and to grow an established solar business, you are being offered an amazing opportunity to conduct a wide review of the company’s marketing, whether present or absent, in all areas including branding, packaging, positioning, segmentation, social media and visual impact. Your demonstrable career success outputs will include producing a include a written marketing plan and implementation of immediate cherry picked top marketing opportunities.
For both internships, you will participate in an amazing pioneer business for 3 – 12 months, duration by agreement. Both internships available immediately. Remuneration is typically £1000 per month for full time internships. Part time internships, pro rata down to 60% may be available.

Highly organised, competent and motivated technical construction project managers / sales / telesales people needed now. Products are solar PV and solar thermal. We have fantastic customers!
Successful candidates for these interesting environmental jobs are likely to be hard-working, organised, confident graduates. You will also have a positive attitude, excellent self-motivation, proven sales and deal-closing experience, a polite and clear phone manner, great verbal skills in explaining technical issues and excellent time management. A team player, you will also be keen to learn new ideas and make good money!
You will use a database and work in a small team. All posts involve some representation and attendance at external events such as exhibitions and meetings.
We will train you in relevant areas including solar in general, and specifically on solar products.
Fluent written and spoken English is essential. (Extra languages may be a help and we particularly welcome fully bilingual speakers of languages such as Arabic, Mandarin, Cantonese, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, French, German, Danish, Welsh.)
Solar Jobs – retail
Great sales posts in a fast growing ethical, renewable energy business selling retail solar panels (for hot water or electricity) by phone. Typical deal value is £2k – 20k. As far as we know, Solartwin is the only solar business in the world which sells retail solar panels by phone, so what we do is far greener than driving out to visit someone.
This work is inbound inquiries only – no cold calls. You will work on hot inbound leads and also on an existing database, explaining about and selling our solar products including solar electric (photovoltaic) panels and our award winning solar heating product. Based in central Chester – you will survey homes in UK and Ireland for Solartwin solar installations, usually by phone using online aerial photography and take deals right through to successful purchase decisions.
You will be given your own portfolio of green energy customers, work to monthly sales thresholds and deadlines using a customer database, effective use of which will help to maximise your level of bonus. Besides selling our core solar heating product, you may also sell other products such as solar electric systems.
There is a base salary. Plus great opportunities for uncapped commission based on deal value or profits over a minimum threshold minimum which is typically £20k worth of solar thermal deals per month.
